Manufacturing unit employees on the Cybertruck line at Tesla’s Austin plant have been reportedly informed to take three days off this week beginning Tuesday, based on a memo first seen by Business Insider.
“On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week (Dec. 3-5), you do not want to report back to work,” the memo stated.

The memo additionally reportedly informed employees they’d be paid for the complete day of their shifts if scheduled. The explanation for the sudden days off was not disclosed, and Tesla didn’t reply to BI’s request for remark.
